The Inspiration:
The three different designs in this first collection of Art Scarves were inspired from my feel-good experiences in other-worldly environments. From the millions of Monarch butterflies I saw in a small mountain town in Mexico, to the soft ground cover of luscious Fern leaves on New Zealand trails, to looking out my own studio windows at the adventurous Birds who will suddenly take off in a flurry for a quick spin around the block.

The Artwork:
The natural imagery immediately makes people smile and captures their imagination to look closer, into the details of photography, line work and paint textures. The layers used in my art process creates a new dimension that I believe looks like an even better reality of our world. My customers have described my artwork as "uplifting" and "ethereal". The floating composition displays a sense of freedom and adventure that naturally conjures feelings of inner beauty and happiness. Each Art Scarf includes my signature in the bottom, right corner. 

The Silk:
The artwork is printed onto 100% silk charmeuse. The silk has a beautiful sheen that is soft against the skin and hangs gracefully. They can be dressed up for a special occasion or be a fabulous accent for work or going out with friends. Sized at 12" x 60", the long scarf can be worn in multiple variations. Try draping it across your shoulders like a shawl, tied around your waist like a belt, or wrapped around your neck into a bow.
